WebDepend has now been trading for 3 months and the first quarter has gone past amazingly quickly. Setting up a new company always takes a bit longer than expected with getting the company name registered, bank account, website up and running, business cards and all the other details that every business needs. The time spent getting our IT organised with computers, printers, backup facilities and software has also been (and continues to be) a chore.

We are proud to announce that Tom Batey has today been awarded the Google Analytics Individual Qualification (Google Analytics IQ), which confirms proof of proficiency in Google Analytics as shown by this Google test record.

Google Analytics is the leading web analytics application in tracking visitor statistics to websites and is used by thousands of web sites worldwide. Google Analytics contains many features to analyse your website traffic and measure the effectiveness of your marketing.

Becoming Google Analytics qualified is an important step in being recognised as an authority in web analytics and website testing. Further qualifications in related technologies and disciplines will follow to ensure that WebDepend continues to be well placed to provide best practice advice and implementation services.

This month sees the launch of Select Algarve Properties focusing on fantastic Algarve properties in prestigious locations including Ferragudo and Vale Da Azinhaga.

The web site is the first full web development project completed by WebDepend since the formation of the business in January 2010 and utilises a full content management system enabling the client to modify any of the property details and add new properties including images, floor plans and links to Google Maps.

Following the Select Algarve Properties launch, we are now embarking on its promotion having already completed a keyword analysis plus implementing the required SEO setup including getting the site indexed by Google around 1 week after launch.

January 2010 sees the launch of WebDepend, a new business concentrating on the testing of web sites and management of web projects.

WebDepend is aiming to help both agencies and in-house development teams alike to take away a lot of the hassle and hard work associated with website testing by providing services that not only make it less painful test web sites but also improve quality overall.

Not only that but WebDepend also provides an outsourced project management service to take responsibility of the management of a web project over the full project life cycle.
