WebDepend provides outsourced project management services for web projects to both companies and digital or graphic design agencies.

We can manage the entire project lifecycle on your behalf or assist you with specific areas of a web project including:

• Review project requirements, provide assistance in scoping out a project and turn that into a well written specification.
• Produce project timelines, wireframes and sitemaps.
• Provide briefing documents for designers and/or developers plus brief in person or over the telephone as required.
• Keep track of the project’s progress and issue project updates to stakeholders and clients.
• Keep track of change requests, ensure that sign offs and approvals are granted at relevant stages.
• Test completed work (see our website testing services).
• Prepare for the site launch and ensure that the launch goes smoothly.
• Completion of post launch checks.
• Ongoing management of site updates post launch.

When managing projects it is important that any issues outside of the project manager’s control are raised at the earliest opportunity so that steps can be taken to overcome the issues, amend the scope of the project or modify the deadline, whichever is most suitable in the circumstances.

Having considerable experience of managing large scale projects for blue chip companies, WebDepend (please see our experience) is able to assume responsibility for the entire project lifecycle or individual elements as appropriate. Our costs are based on a very reasonable hourly rate and time estimates for each element of the project are agreed before any work begins. We will keep you up to date on time spent with regular update calls and/or meetings as required, so that you are aware of any potential overrun before it happens.

In addition, we can offer post launch services such as the analysis of web site analytics and ongoing monitoring of agreed web site KPIs, site availability monitoring and performance testing.
