A European top tier football team with a worldwide fan base has separate websites for ticketing, merchandising and its main football club news and information site. A new system was installed to provide a centralized place for user profiles plus allow single sign on for users to access each site without signing in to each one separately.
Our testing covered the single sign on system itself plus ensuring that the user experience remained consistent across all 3 websites. We tested a number of journey types from signing in to purchase seat tickets, purchase merchandise or view club news and that the experience was easy and straightforward for the user in each case. This testing also extended to the Football Club's branding and making sure design guidelines were followed as well as compatibility testing for desktop browsers and mobile devices.
